{Excerpt from the Daily Sniff} For centuries, since the time when our forefathers escaped the tyranny of the feline overlords that held our canine brethren down, we have fought. Those pompous power hungry political felines have treated us lower then dirt until we rose up and found this new land. They let us go, happy to be free of us and we were happy to be free of them. We struggled and made a home for ourselves figuring that we had left our masters behind us. Now that we are a thriving community, still in it's puppyhood, they are demanding what they say is their due. They want to simply take the goods we wish to sell saying that was they who made us what we are. They say we are still their country beasts and wish us to pay outrageous prices for the meager goods they sell us and the backstabbing soldiers that are suppose to protect us. I say rise up and fight along side us brave rebels.

[Taken from the Purritan Pedaler} Fellow felines and Cousin canines I beseech you to heed my words. Generations ago our ancestors, in their wisdom and wish to better all of us, sent a pair of ships to discover a new world. Curious puppy like canines lead by brave and noble feline explorers embarked on a journey for the glory of the kindgom. Once they landed they worked togethor through hardships to create a great land out of nothing. We sent them supplies at great cost to us, protected them from the natives with our soldiers, and dragged them out of their despair. Now when we want a few meager coins to help pay for what we have given them they threaten us with revolution. This is treason of the highest order! I say we shall not stand for this any longer! Enlist today for country and for King.
