Between Kilnay and Furling is a vast ocean. Here merchant ships try to ship their wares, pirates and privateers attack these merchants while naval vessels attack them. Furling has no real navy and so relies on privateers to protect the new land. Kilnay's navy is surpassed by none yet the best captains can still out gun and out run them. Sea creatures live on small hidden islands that dot the ocean.
